Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) Extended, December 19, 2009
EUC is a 100% federally funded program that provides benefits to individuals who have exhausted regular state benefits. The EUC program was created on June 30, 2008, and has been modified several times. Most recently, on December 19, 2009, the President signed the Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2010 (P.L. 111-118) which extended the expiration date of the EUC program to February 28, 2010.
